Okay so wow that was really good, but I do say this with a heavy heart that is not a five-star read. Don't get me wrong I LOVED so much of this book, but I didn't like how the romance went from 1-100 in like 2 pages. One second, they were duking it out on the mats and the next thing you know Violet is confessing her love. It was fun, fast paced, and had you attached to the characters so quickly. It's a very good book for someone looking to get into the fantasy genre. The world-building isn't super complicated, as a "veteran" fantasy reader I did have trouble with some of the names but overall, on the difficulty scale it was a 1/5. The banter between the two characters is phenomenal, I was given the enemies to lovers I've been waiting for. I mean come one she actually threw a dagger at his head.

Will I pick up Iron Flame? - Yes

Will I reread this book? - Yes

Did I sadly guess the plot twist 100 pages in? - Also, Yes

Am I in love with Xaden and want to live out my days riding around with him on his dragon? - A million times yes

One more thing Mrs. Rebecca Yaros why Liam, I was sobbing in my bed at 3am. Do you enjoy inflicting pain. Also, can we boot Dain from the story just like we did with Jack.
